■ Characteristics ■ A refreshing session Hazy IPA woven from the ancient African grain "Fonio" and vibrant hop aromatics. Its greatest appeal lies in delivering the fruity aroma unique to a Hazy IPA and the silky mouthfeel derived from wheat and oats, all while achieving an easy-drinking character at just 4.5% ABV and 12 IBU. The gentle grainy notes brought by Fonio harmonize with the fruity hop aroma, and in contrast to its hazy, juicy appearance, this beer comes together as a supremely drinkable pour you can down mindlessly, gulp after gulp. ■ Our Commitment ■ While drawing out the character of Fonio—also known as a superfood—we pursued a deep, satisfying flavor that never feels lacking despite being a session-style beer. NorthStar Pils serves as the base malt, and a balanced combination of Melanoidin and Crystal 75 accentuates the gentle grainy quality and subtle fruitiness derived from Fonio. For hops we chose Nelson Sauvin, Hallertau Blanc, and Centennial. Juicy aromas reminiscent of white grape, white peach, and refreshing citrus unfold, harmonizing beautifully with the delicate flavor of Fonio. Moreover, the mellow fruitiness produced by the Kölsch yeast enhances the individual character of both the hops and the Fonio without masking either.
